Chelsea White is an eclectic traditional artist based in southern New Hampshire, where she lives with her fiancé. She is always trying new media combinations while seeking to re-sew the magic into everyday life with wild fantasy animals like winged cats and unicorns with hands-- and with just a touch of her particular sense of humor. She has a flair for traditional animation design, portraits of old New England architecture, and Norway spruces. She gains much inspiration from traditional 2D animated films, comics, graphic novels, the masters of plein aire painting, and board game design.
Graduating from Gordon College in Wenham, MA in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Visual Arts, Chelsea has since worked hard to incorporate creative art-making into every day life. She aspires to become a part of the visual arts and illustration industry, to be able to continue to find things to make that are new and lovely.
